Q Is everything plain or patterned?
A Duvet covers are either plain or have an embossed stripe pattern,
Tablecloths and napkins are either plain, “ivy leaf” embossed pattern
or “satin band”. We don't sort items by pattern
Q How long for delivery
A New Life linen collect orders every day. We submit requests to
laundries on Wednesday am, then we collect what is available on
Friday morning. We then ship to you on Monday or Tuesday. So
that's 7 to 12 days for items that are “in stock” at the laundries.
Q What if something is out of stock?
A We do not hold stock or even know what stock we might get. So
at the time of ordering NOTHING is in stock but we estimate our stock
levels on our website according to our expected supply.
If we are unable to supply your request we will let you know and offer
a refund or you can hold out until it becomes available.
Q Our wedding is in October next year, when should I order?
A Now!
If it is a very important occasion then the earlier you order
the more chance of getting what you want. We can hold items in stock
for you until required if storage is an issue.
Q Can I collect in person to save delivery charges?
A Yes. If you want to collect items then a suitable time can be
arranged. Please note that we do not hold stock so you will need
to order first.
Q What happens to the linen with rips and big stains?
A We are open to suggestions! We are considering making some
items and would love to hear your views. Aprons, shopping bags and
cushion covers are being considered. Any ideas/helpers?
Q Are all sizes standard?
A Yes. Sizes are common to trade and commercial users.
Table cloth sizes are in inches
1 inch is 25.4mm, 1 foot is 304.8mm (30.48cm)
Q Do you ever supply new items?
A Nearly... Sometimes laundries have items returned
that they do not normally stock and since these items cannot go
back to any customers they are no good to them.
Any such items will appear on this website from time to time.
